Santalucía Auditorium – Madrid

The Santalucía auditorium in Madrid integrates acoustic conditioning as an essential part of its spatial identity.

The acoustic panels are installed on the side walls using a composition of overlapping rectangular pieces at varying depths. This arrangement provides rhythm, volume, and visual continuity, while also helping to control reverberation in a space intended for presentations, meetings, and corporate events.

Integrated LED lighting between the panels accentuates the reliefs and creates an immersive atmosphere in shades of blue, reinforcing the auditorium’s technological and contemporary character. This treatment extends to the ceiling as well, using dark linear elements that contribute to acoustic control and complete the interior envelope.

The result is an auditorium where acoustics, lighting and architecture work together to improve speech intelligibility and offer a more comfortable and immersive experience.
