What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit, such as the language you have chosen. Some are essential for the website to work; others are used to analyse how it is used or to show advertising.
Which cookies does this website use?
This website uses:
- Technical cookies, needed for it to work and to remember the preferences you choose (for example, the language or your choice about cookies). They are exempt from consent (article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI).
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics), to find out how many people visit the website and which pages they view, in aggregate, so that we can improve it.
- Advertising cookies (Google Ads, OpenAI’s ad measurement and, on the pages of some events, the Meta pixel), to measure whether our ads work and to show you ECOcero ads on other websites.
Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the notice we show you when you arrive. You can accept them all, reject them all or choose which ones, and change your choice whenever you like with the round button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Until you accept any, we do not load any analytics or advertising tool.

* Browsers limit how long cookies actually last (Chrome, to about 13 months; Safari, to less). In addition, if you accept advertising, Google may use cookies on its own domains (for example, doubleclick.net or google.com) to measure our ad conversions and show you ads; they belong to Google and are governed by its cookie policy.
Third-party services
Google Maps. On the contact page you can see where we are on a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited). The map does not load until you click “Load the map”. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may use its own cookies, which are governed by its cookie policy. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Analytics and Google Ads. The analytics and advertising services belong to Google Ireland Limited and we load them with Google Tag Manager, which does not set cookies itself. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information in its privacy policy.
OpenAI. If you accept advertising cookies, we also load OpenAI’s ad measurement, which tells us whether our ads have led to an enquiry. It may use its own cookies or identifiers and process data outside the European Economic Area. More information in its privacy policy.
Meta. On the pages of some events, if you accept advertising cookies, we also load the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, owner of Facebook and Instagram), which tells us whether our ads on those networks have led to a visit or a sign-up. Meta may also use cookies on its own domains (for example, facebook.com), which are governed by its cookie policy, and process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information in its privacy policy.
Cloudflare. The website is served through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks; its cookies are those in the table. In the website’s forms and in the whistleblowing channel we also use its Cloudflare Turnstile check, which verifies that you are not a robot without setting cookies in your browser.
jsDelivr. Some of the website’s files are loaded from jsDelivr, a content delivery network. It receives your IP address in order to deliver those files, but it does not set cookies.
How can you manage or delete cookies?
You can change your choice about analytics and advertising cookies at any time with the round button in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you withdraw your consent, we delete this website’s Google and Meta cookies from your browser.
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block technical cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly (for example, the language). These are the instructions for the most common browsers:
Changes to this policy
If we add other cookies, we will update this policy and, if they are not technical, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
