The Room Studio develops projects where design, materials, and lighting work together to create balanced and livable spaces. Founded by Meritxell Ribé and Josep Puigdomènech, the studio understands interior design from a holistic perspective, where each element forms part of a coherent and carefully curated spatial experience.
The Room Studio’s approach combines aesthetic sensibility and functional precision to create fluid and contemporary environments. Attention to detail, the integration of materials, and the pursuit of harmony define a philosophy where design transforms the relationship between people and space.
The Lumomesh design, created by The Room Studio for ECOcero, embodies this same approach to spatial integration. Inspired by open systems and free configurations, it proposes surfaces capable of combining acoustics, lighting, and composition within a single visual language.
In their proposal for ECOcero, the studio has designed versatile pieces that allow for the creation of customized configurations adapted to different architectural styles and interior needs. The absence of fixed patterns provides compositional freedom and transforms each surface into a dynamic element within the space. Their designs also consider the acoustics of the spaces, contributing balance, warmth, and well-being.
