IBEROSTAR Grand Aruba Hotel

The JOIA Aruba by Iberostar project reflects an architectural concept inspired by the landscape, light, and essence of the Caribbean. The interior spaces combine natural materials, warm colors, and organic references to create an immersive, sophisticated experience where design and hospitality coexist in balance.

The acoustic treatment incorporates a range of ECOcero solutions tailored to the different areas of the hotel. In the dining areas, the Nordik Colour model stands out, integrated into the orange ceiling as a linear acoustic solution that adds visual rhythm and depth to the space. In other common areas, the Smooth model is used in a camel finish, enhancing the warmth and aesthetic continuity of the interior architecture.

The project also includes custom acoustic solutions inspired by organic forms from the natural environment, such as compositions that evoke fish scales and coral, integrated as decorative, sound-absorbing elements within the hotel’s concept. At reception, the Print + Volume models are reinterpreted through an exclusive design that combines relief, texture, and custom graphics to enhance the space’s visual identity.

Made from recycled RTF, ECOcero’s acoustic solutions help reduce reverberation and improve sound comfort in high-activity common areas, while also bringing design, sustainability, and experiential value to the hotel project.

The result is a space where acoustics, interior design, and Caribbean essence come together to create a warmer, more sensory, and more memorable experience.
