The creation of the brand stand has involved recycling 4.500 plastic bottles.

Erico Navazo has created two collections of panels while Noé Prades has designed two lamp options using the company's acoustic materials.

València, October 3, 2023.- The ECOcero brand, a specialist in sustainable acoustic solutions, has presented its new acoustic panels and lamps within the framework of the Habitat Valencia Fair, created from recycled plastic bottles, the result of its collaboration with designers Erico Navazo and Noé Prades.

Its stand at the international furniture event, which also bears the signature of Erico Navazo, has involved the recycling of 4.500 plastic bottles. In this space it was possible to discover the creations of Erico Navazo: the first emulates the aesthetics of wood and complements the brand's ECOnordik line of panels. The second combines volumes and geometric figures in 60cm x 60cm panels that can generate compositions in both panels and ceilings in a wide range of colors.

“The acoustic materials with which we have worked provide plasticity to our work as designers and, likewise, improve the comfort of the spaces where they are located,” Navazo said.

In the case of Noé Prades, his contribution has been two lines of lamps. One, Hummingbird, is inspired by the color of the bird of the same name and proposes three vibrant shades. In addition, it can be placed horizontally, vertically, tilted and even attached to the wall. The second proposal, Breeze, is a ceiling lamp that “evokes the heartbeat, the sound of air through the silhouette and function of acoustic materials,” according to the designer.

During the presentation event, the executive director of ECOcero, Jorge Bellido, highlighted that, since its inception in 2017, the company has always defended that the growth of the brand was sustainable, which is why all its products are generated from plastic. Recycled PET.

“In recent years we have taken another step, with the aim of the company also progressing hand in hand with design and interior design. “We have been collaborating with different designers for more than a year and in the month of November we will present a new catalogue, which will include the proposals of Erico Navazo and Noé Prades but also the creations of Alejandra Pombo and the Masquespacio studios and The Room studio,” said Bellido. .

Each designer was entrusted with a double mission: to design a new line of solutions that used the acoustic materials that are the hallmark of ECOcero and a second piece, as a work of art, which will be published in a limited way and whose collection It will be allocated to solidarity projects related to the environment and children.

All ECOcero products stand out for their high sound-absorbing level and their high customization capacity for each space.

In Hábitat, ECOcero's new products have also been present at the stand of Actiu, a professional furniture manufacturer, and in the installation by Annud and Cualiti in the exhibition “From digital art to material reality. Exploring design” at Valencia Disseny Week.

Furthermore, within the cultural activities promoted by Feria Hábitat València, the firm has participated in the exhibition “Scenarios of a near future”, which last year could be visited at the Center del Carme de Cultura Conteporània (CCCC) in the framework of València World Design Capital 2022. The exhibition, curated by journalist Tachy Mora, combines pieces of furniture and lighting in living spaces conceived by designers and architects together with equipment, materials and construction firms.
