Rafa Ortega understands design as a tool capable of providing functional and emotional solutions through innovation and creativity. His work is characterized by a practical and contemporary approach aimed at improving the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Flexibility, movement, and the capacity for transformation are essential parts of his creative language.

Rafa’s approach integrates functionality and spatial perception through versatile and expressive solutions. The interplay between color, volume, and composition allows for the creation of dynamic spaces where design modifies the visual and emotional experience of the environment.

The Flap design, created by Rafa Ortega for ECOcero, embodies this same understanding of space. Inspired by movement, spatial transformation, and the interplay between color and volume, it proposes dynamic surfaces capable of modifying the perception of the environment through visual rhythm and composition. In his proposal for ECOcero, he has combined rotating louvers and variable configurations designed to adapt the atmosphere to different needs and emotions. The interplay between orientation, light, and color allows for the creation of more open, intimate, or dynamic spaces, depending on each project. His designs carefully consider the acoustics of the spaces, providing flexibility, identity, and well-being.
