The Advanced Digital Innovation Center of the Valencian Community (CIDA), an organization dedicated to the digitization of Vocational Training, is a benchmark in applied innovation, research, and promotion of economic transformation and excellence in the skills of Vocational Training students.

With the main objective of technological surveillance, the development of new learning methodologies, and the transfer of the results of R+D+i projects, the CIDA it becomes a vital resource for all educational centers that provide Vocational Training in the Valencian Community, contributing highly qualified professionals to society.

El CIDA It is located in the Digital District of Alicante, a strategic location for promoting innovation and digital research in all sectors related to VET professional families.

Through a decree of the Consell, the CIDA it started operating in the first quarter of 2021, with an initial budget of approximately 600.000 euros. The center started with a staff of 18 people and the intention to fill these positions in the style of CEFIRE advisers. Also, the CIDA finances and promotes research projects in vocational training centers, with the help of coordinating teachers who work as external advisors.

Aware of the importance of sustainability and the improvement of working conditions, the CIDA has opted for the incorporation of recycled ECOcero acoustic panels, made from recycled plastic bottles. These custom-designed panels improve the quality of the acoustic environment in the workspace, while at the same time supporting recycling practices and environmental protection.

El CIDA continues to work towards the digitization of vocational training, while supporting innovation and sustainability in its infrastructure and operating model.

  4. Promotion of Creativity and Critical Thinking: According to research from the University of Oxford (2021), reducing environmental noise can help foster creativity and critical thinking among students
  5. Greater Attraction and Retention of Personnel: According to a study from the University of Cambridge (2019), schools with a good acoustic environment can attract and retain high-quality staff.
